We regularly conduct assessment centres in Perth, Sydney and Auckland to recruit our Customer Service Representatives. When recruiting for these positions, we look for people who support our corporate values of:

Application
To apply, all you need to do is fill in our online application form and attach your resume.
Tips:
- Make sure your resume is up-to-date
- Add as many contact details as possible so we can contact you
- Check your application and resume for any spelling or grammatical errors
Once you have sent in your application, you will receive a response from iiNet acknowledging receipt of your application.
Telephone Screen
Once your application has been received, your resume will be reviewed. If you have been shortlisted, you'll receive a phone call from an HR representative to discuss your application further.
Tips:
- Be prepared for your phone interview; keep a record of your application
- Think about why you want to work for us as a Customer Service Representative
- Know your schedule; if you are successful to the next stage, we will want to book you in for an assessment centre
Assessment Centre
You will be asked to attend our assessment centre which runs for approximately two hours. The assessment centre will include:
- A presentation on what it's like to be a Customer Service Representative here at iiNet
- An interview
- Online testing which includes customer service skills, spelling, grammar, computer skills and a typing test
You will be interviewed by a HR representative and a Customer Service Manager. Our interviews are behaviourally based, so we are looking for you to give us specific examples of how you draw upon your skills and experience.
Tips:
- Make sure you take extra care of your appearance - first impressions always last!
- Arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time of the assessment
- Bring all relevant information including contact details, and up-to-date referee information
- Be prepared; research the company
- Think of what your strengths are, what you can bring to the company and why we would hire you over another candidate
- Make eye contact
Reference Checks
An important part of your application is the reference check stage.
Before we can make a verbal offer to you, we need to complete 2 references. These must be professional references and the referee must be a manager form your previous employment.
Offer
Once you have successfully completed all stages of the recruitment process, we will make a verbal offer which will be confirmed in writing after you have verbally accepted.
You will be required to provide up-to-date police clearance as a final stage of the offer process.
